The Ideal Candidate: A.D.A.M. is seeking an experienced Account Manager with a history of establishing and maintaining long-term relationships with key contacts at all levels (Day-to-Day Operations up to C-Level) of an organization. The Account Manager will use his/her extensive knowledge to collaborate with stakeholders within the client’s organization in order to develop robust, integrated health and wellness solutions that align with the client’s web strategy, offer an engaging web-based experience to members and/or consumers and helps drive those individuals to their products and services.

Location: Atlanta, GA / U.S. Client Base

Reports To: Director of Client Services

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: A.D.A.M. Account Managers are responsible for managing an existing base of clients, ensuring the highest levels of client satisfaction, retaining revenue through contract renewals and growing revenue by up selling additional solutions. This position will function as the strategic point of contact to the assigned client base and will work closely with Sales, Technical Support and Product Development to ensure client satisfaction. The Client Services Manager must be able to employ a consultative approach in order to identify and articulate the alignment of the A.D.A.M. value proposition (and corresponding product/solution mix) with each client’s strategic goals and objectives. The Account Manager will also be responsible for:

  • Maintaining a broad knowledge of A.D.A.M.’s products and their capabilities versus the strengths/weaknesses of the competition
  • Regular client communication via phone, e-mail and face-to-face meetings
  • Becoming a trusted consultant and advisor to his/her clients by learning and analyzing the client’s business, providing best practices and suggestions on how to align the A.D.A.M. solutions with the client’s strategies and staying abreast of new, cutting-edge Consumer Health and Wellness Solutions in a Web 2.0 environment that could benefit the client
  • Attaining Net Revenue Growth of 95% by retaining existing client revenue and adding new revenue by up selling additional products and services

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with experience in the healthcare industry, licensing/software industry and/or consulting
  • 5-7 years of industry experience with a minimum of 3 years of prior Account/Relationship Management or Sales experience
  • MBA in a health-related graduate degree is a plus
  • Problem-solving skills, professional appearance and strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook (knowledge of CRM applications is a plus)
  • A great attitude, a commitment to excellence and an ability to learn quickly and
  • A passion to excel and a history of achieving and exceeding assigned goals
  • Willingness to travel, including overnight, approximately 30% - 50%
