The Enterprise Sales Director Role is to work with the Senior Healthcare Network Executives to define and deploy world class solutions incorporating the breadth of Ebix products and services to improve the quality of care, outcomes and economics for the business. For the patient, Ebix supports meaningful use and better patient outcomes by providing award-winning health content, medical illustrations, animations, videos and technology solutions to help educate consumers about their health and wellness. Healthcare Professional Training, CME and real-time clinical information enhance Ebix ability to drive success. Ebix provides tools that allow clinicians to simulate surgical procedures at the patient bedside and integrate CME tools into EMR systems. Capitalizing on the increasing consumer-directed healthcare initiative promoted by many organizations, Ebix solutions provide web-based consumer health information solutions to hospitals, health systems, physician practices, pharmaceutical companies, internet portals, Managed Care Organizations and technology companies. For the business, Ebix provides solutions that allow a Healthcare Network stand up a Health plan from planning to implementation.

The Ideal Candidate: is a seasoned healthcare technology sales executive that understands the science and methods around building strong relationships and sales pipelines, understands how important face to face contact with prospects can be and has successfully sold into the Healthcare Network “C" suite. The Enterprise Sales Director will work with the client to develop robust, integrated healthcare solutions that align with the client’s business and innovation strategy.

Location: Atlanta, GA / U.S. Customer Base

Reports To: Assistant Vice President Sales, Enterprise Healthcare Networks

Responsibilities: This position is responsible for growing the company’s revenues through the direct sale of Ebix Offerings. The Enterprise Sales Director must be able to employ a consultative approach in order to identify and articulate the alignment of the Ebix value proposition (and corresponding product/solution mix) with each client’s strategic goals and objectives. The Enterprise Sales Director will be selling directly to new large scale Healthcare Networks. The candidate will be assigned an annual quota and measured versus achievement of quota.

  • 7 years’ experience working with Healthcare Networks in the EMR/EHR, Consumer Health, Clinical, Patient Education or Payer space
  • Experience selling $1M+ multi-year solutions
  • Ability to sell at the senior level of an organization i.e. C level, VP level
  • Experience handling multiple clients and managing a territory strategically
  • Ability to coordinate resources with an organization and function as part of a team
  • A self-starter with ability to learn quickly
  • Problem-solving skills, professional appearance, and strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A great attitude and commitment to excellence
  • Willingness to travel approximately 40% - 60%, including overnight travel
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • A history of achieving and exceeding assigned goals
