A.D.A.M., Inc. is looking for a motivated and experienced individual who will be responsible for bringing in new business from customers within the hospital and managed care/population health market segments. You will be part of a dynamic group committed to making A.D.A.M. the preferred provider of patient engagement and education, and continuing education for Physicians. This position is for someone who brings passion, dedication, entrepreneurial attitude, with a deep online product sales and support expertise to an established company with market leading education solutions.


Sales Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceeds sales goals by using a strategic, consultative selling approach to expand market share in assigned territory
  • Manage all aspects of proposal and sales quote process, from initial receipt to submission of the management approved proposal document and contract process
  • Handle inquiries from potential customers coming in from A.D.A.M. contact page, helpdesk or marketing lead generation efforts

Customer Relationship Management Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify potential customer needs and suggest new opportunities for A.D.A.M. product use or services to meet the customer requirements
  • Maintain ongoing consultative relationship with prospects to identify opportunities and suggest appropriate products/services to address their needs
  • Respond and resolve prospect concerns by providing expert understanding of integrated products and coordinating with others in the A.D.A.M. organization as required
  • Provide insight to A.D.A.M. internal resources on market trends and findings while prospecting to help guide future product development
  • Become expert on A.D.A.M. solutions and give demos on products as needed

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of technology sales experience in hospital and managed care, working with multiple customer constituencies including CXO, Physicians and Nurses, Marketing professionals, system administrators, IT staff, and VP and Director level influencers
  • Strong background and familiarization with the US Healthcare Environment
  • Demonstrated understanding of HTML, XML, and CSS is helpful but not required
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
