Oversees and provides direction and support to the Fulfillment Center which includes but is not limited to the mail room functions and assembling of policies.


  • Oversees the fulfillment centers activities, including the sorting and scanning/delivery of incoming mail and the preparation and sending of outgoing mail and special monthly mailing for the Claims and Policy Services Departments.
  • Oversees the assembling of the administration kits for new and or existing cases while remaining in compliance with service contracts, regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Responsible for reporting metrics and achieving service goals
  • Directs and modifies workflow as needed to ensure efficient operations.
  • Participates in functions of hiring an employee, makes recommendations for promotions and disciplinary actions.
  • Ensures all tasks are completed within service standards and target dates.
  • Responsible for the development and ensure maintenance of a department procedural manual.
  • Completes special projects as assigned by management.
  • Acts as a resource for staff members with problem solving and decision making.
  • Works closely with various other departments to achieve consistency and cooperation of all activities.
  • Develops relationships with vendors regarding any service calls or maintenance that needs to be performed on the office equipment.
  • Maintain knowledge of all internal and external systems which pertain to the department
  • Enforce quality and quantity standards thru verbal and written communication.
  • Performs similar job-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Associates Degree or equivalent from a two year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Strong PC, typing and data entry skills, using MS Office (Excel, Word and Outlook).
  • Good mathematical skills.
  • Good analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Good customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience within the insurance industry a plus.
  • Experience working in a fulfillment center a plus.
