Annual John Isner Charity Challenge a Success Once Again

CHARLOTTE, NC - February 4, 2016 - For several years now, John Isner has used his global platform as a top-ranked tennis player (currently 11th in the world) to help a cause that is near and dear to his heart: The fight against cancer. On Thursday, February 4th, hundreds of people filled Halton Arena at UNC Charlotte in support of the 6th annual Ebix Charity Challenge, hosted by John Isner. Every dollar raised at this event will benefit the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, a facility that played a huge role in his mother's fight against colon cancer.

According to John, "The doctors at UNC Lineberger saved my mother's life, and they've saved countless other lives as well. For me when it came to picking a charity for my event, it was an easy call. My family is forever in debt to UNC Lineberger. If I can give back to them even in the smallest way, I'm going to do my best to do it."

The exhibition was headlined by John himself, former world #1 ranked singles player Andy Roddick and arguably the best doubles combination in tennis history, Mike and Bob Bryan. The combination brought a high level of competitiveness, mixed with a lot of humor in an intimate and welcoming environment. As a proud sponsor, Ebix representatives were able to attend and take part in the festivities. Once again, the event was a huge success and an event that we hope to sponsor for many years to come.
