The staff position is an entry-level position into EbixExchange. Staff members will learn both the business and technology of Ebix in a hands-on role. Staff members will support EbixExchange business exchange and software platforms for both existing and new clients.

Staff members will support business analysts and project managers as they work with clients on EbixExchange business exchange and software solutions. Ebix will provide initial training and ongoing mentoring for staff. Successful staff members will need to quickly learn and apply details of the financial services industry, client and project support, and technology associated with EbixExchange platforms. This position is with our EbixExchange, LifeSpeed division based in Atlanta, GA. No relocation package provided.

Essential Job Functions

  • Professionally communicate with EbixExchange clients via interpersonal, phone, and email interaction

  • Learn the details of EbixExchange business to support detailed analysis of client requests

  • Answer help-desk calls when necessary to document and help resolve client issues

  • Identify client requirements and write clear documentation to support these requests

  • Coordinate with different teams involved in the project, across countries and time zones to develop the project requirements

  • Trains clients on use of system and other services, may assist with developing training materials

  • Handle multiple clients and relevant projects simultaneously

  • Demonstrate aptitude in learning both details of the financial services industry and technical details of the EbixExchange platforms

  • Support clients with their testing of change requests and platform enhancements, including investigating and resolving issues

  • Respond in a timely manner to clients’ questions about their platform via emails and telephone calls

  • Provide regular status reports to major accounts, and to any customer that has open, unresolved issues or questions

Minimum Requirements

  • 4 year college degree required

  • Methodical critical thinking, analytical, problem solving, and organization skills

  • Excellent communication, both in person and on the telephone, as well as in written correspondence

  • Good interpersonal skills, and team leadership with customer-focused, relationship-driven attitude

  • Must have strong aptitude to learn new technical skills

  • Ability to travel as required, up to 25% travel may be required
