Server Administrator

In this role, you will play a vital role in maintaining the stability, security, and performance of our server infrastructure, ensuring optimal uptime and productivity for our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server systems (including Active Directory, DNS, WSUS, and Group Policies)
• Perform regular patching and updates using WSUS
• Troubleshoot server issues, diagnose problems, and implement solutions
• Monitor server performance and proactively address potential issues
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
• Provide technical support to end users on server-related issues
• Collaborate with other IT team members on projects and initiatives
• Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning
• Assist with the deployment and configuration of new servers and services
• Basic to good knowledge of Linux systems

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 3-4 years of experience in server administration, preferably in a Windows Server environment
• Working knowledge of Linux systems (1-2 Year Exp)
• MCSA or MCSE certification in Windows Server
• Strong understanding of Active Directory, DNS, WSUS, and Group Policies
• Working knowledge of Linux systems
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
